What is a service like?

Generally speaking, our service begins with worship, led by a band. Most people stand during this time, however, there is complete freedom to be seated if

you prefer. The words of all of the songs are projected at the front of the Worship auditorium. Our hope is that you'll hear songs you know or can relate to,

even if you haven't been to church in years. Our worship is contemporary without compromise.

Like most churches we receive an offering in our service. If you are a guest, please do not feel obligated to participate in the  offering. This is intended for our regular attendees who consider Harvest their church home.

As our guest, we only ask that you take a few moments to complete our Friendship Register which is found at the end of each row. The Friendship Register is used to help us get to know you better. It is a place where you can request information ask for prayer, let us know your thoughts, or just indicate your presence with us. In any case, we use it to pray for you during the week. You won’t be asked to stand or raise your hand (or anything else embarrassing) just because you’re new. Nor will you have to recite anything or kneel at certain times during the service.

Harvest provides practical Bible messages for adults and for children in KidZone that help you deal with real life issues. We'll even give you a handy outline with the main points and Bible verses in the bulletin. What you learn on the weekend, you'll be able to use during the week. We provide children K through 5th grade with guides based on what they learned to help you connect with them and make the most of your family time during the week.

What should I wear?

At Harvest Bible Chapel, we focus on the heart more than the outward appearance. When you come to one of our weekend

services, you will find people dressed in a wide variety of styles from as casual as jeans or shorts, to as formal as suits and dresses. However, most people find themselves somewhere in the middle--most often wearing business casual.

We do ask that people wear clothing that does not draw attention to themselves. We think that what you wear to church should not detract from the worship experience of others around you. We want all of the attention to go to Jesus Christ.

Welcome from Our Pastor

I want to thank you for taking the time to check out the website of Harvest Bible Chapel of Conyngham Valley.

Harvest Conyngham Valley believes the greatest of all Christian virtues is love. Making disciples balanced in grace and truth, who love as He loved, is the goal we strive for at Harvest. God is love and He manifested His love by sendig His Son Jesus Christ into this world. He became flesh and dwelt among us. He was full grace and full truth. All those who receive Him and believe in His name, He gave the right to become children of God. Our desire is that all of our members grow in His kind of love.

Harvest Conyngham Valley is place where the authority of God's Word is passionately proclaimed and the name of Jesus Christ is lifted high in our personal and corporate worship. We exist as a church to glorify God by making quality disciples. We believe a quality disciple is one who Worships Christ, Walks with Christ and Works for Christ. We are serious about quality discipleship and have an intentional plan in place for you to grow as one.

Harvest Conyngham Valley is founded firmly upon these four priorities, the unashamed adoration of God’s Son, theunapologetic preaching of God’s Word, unceasing prayer and the unwavering witness of the good news of Jesus Christ.  I invite you to explore our website so you can learn more about our mission, ministries and priorities of our rchurch.

We're excited to be part of what God is doing to bring glory to His Name, and expand His Kingdom here in Northeastern Pennsylvania, across America and in locations around the world through Harvest Bible Chapel.

I'd like to extend my personal invitation to you to join us for worship on Sunday morning at 10:00 AM.

Our church is located in the beautiful Conyngham Valley on 475 Main Street in Conyngham.  Come and worship the Lord with us. You will be challenged, exhorted and encouraged from God's Word. You will also have the opportunity to meet some authentic people here in the Harvest family. My wife Sue and I would love to have the chance to meet you and hear what God is doing in your life.

Thanks again for taking the time to visit our website. We’re looking forward to meeting you soon.

God has blessed us as a church, and has shown us His faithfulness for 22 years as a church. We are now delighted to unite with the Harvest Bible Fellowship. I’m anticipating continued faithfulness, spiritual blessings and more fruitfulness in our church family now, and in the future.

We have been praying for disciples to join us in bringing glory to God through the fulfillment of the Great Commission in the spirit of the Great Commandment.

Come and join us. I invite you to be part of His mission.

Because of His Grace and Truth,

Jeff Butala
Senior Pastor
